NDL Gallery: recent additions

Pink Tentacle (one of my favorite Japan blogs—check out its 2006 hottest stories overview) recently linked to various curiosities in the National Diet Library's Edo period illustrations archive. Note: when you're browsing individual pages (like this one), you want to click on 「拡大画像を開く」 for the hi-res versions (example).
